Moments from one
hobbyist's travels

I currently work as a field biologist and travel a lot for work. My camera is something I take with me everywhere, both for work and personal trips. Photography became a hobby for me during COVID when I was looking for any excuse to get out of my house. Now this hobby has become something I love and enjoy, and something that I invest more money and time into. It is my primary means of capturing, sharing, and remembering the places I go and the things I see.
Many people in my life have encouraged me to build a portfolio and try to sell my photos. I used to always dismissed these ideas because I never viewed this hobby as something I could commit to and be able to monetize. Nothing happened to change my mind on the matter, but recently I decided to create a space where I, and others, could easily view and share my work. So, I created this website to be a home for my favorite pieces. I still don't have plans to build my brand and make money off of my work because, of course, it is still just a hobby for me. That could easily change. If enough people like my photos and want to support me, then I don't see a reason not to turn this hobby into a source of income. But for now, just a hobby.
Thanks for spending time looking through my gallery, I really appreciate it.
